Frequently asked questions

Find clear answers on how to care for your artisanal candles and handmade resin home decor to keep them in peak condition.

How do I get the best and safest burn from my candles?

Always trim your wick to ¼ inch before each burn to maintain a steady flame and reduce soot. Keep your burning candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, pets, and curious little hands. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Why is the first burn so important for jar candles?

For jar candles, always allow the wax to melt evenly completely across the top edge. This prevents "tunneling" down the center and extends the life of your candle. Be sure never to burn any candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

When should I stop burning my candle?

You should stop burning your candle when approximately ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom of the container. Burning below this level can overheat the jar or surface underneath.

How do I protect my resin creations from fading or warping?

Keep your resin decor out of direct sunlight and away from sources of extreme heat. Prolonged UV exposure and high temperatures can cause discoloration, softening, or warping over time.

How should I clean and handle my resin pieces?

Clean gently using a soft, damp cloth. Always avoid harsh chemicals, alcohol, and abrasive scrubbers. While cured resin is durable, it is not indestructible, so handle each piece with care to prevent drops and scratches.

Are resin trays and coasters safe for food?

Unless an item is specifically labeled and certified food-safe, our resin pieces are intended solely for decorative use and should not come into direct contact with unwrapped food.
